Thrive with Hypno (thrivewithhypno.com) is the trading name of Dianne Gross, operating as a sole trader through DEG Coaching. We are committed to protecting the privacy of anyone who visits our website, registers for an event, or becomes a client.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, where it is stored, and what rights you have over it. It applies to our website, our online registration pages, our email communications, and our hypnotherapy practice generally.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
Who We Are
Thrive with Hypno is a clinical hypnotherapy and NLP practice run by Dianne Gross, specialising in gut-directed hypnotherapy for IBS using the Manchester Protocol. The practice operates fully online.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, Dianne Gross is the data controller responsible for your personal information.
Information We Collect
We collect personal information in the following ways:
- Contact details you give us directly, such as your name, email address, and phone number, when you register for a free masterclass or workshop, book a discovery call, or enquire about our services.
- Client information, such as your address and relevant health and personal history, if you go on to become a client, collected only as needed to provide your sessions safely and effectively.
- Payment information, when you purchase a programme. Payment card details are processed directly by our payment provider and are not stored on our own systems.
- Website usage information, collected automatically through cookies, such as which pages you visit and how long you spend on the site.
- Communications you send us, such as emails, messages, or responses to any survey or feedback request.
How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to:
- Register you for a masterclass, workshop, or other event, and send you related joining instructions, reminders, and replays
- Provide, manage, and follow up on hypnotherapy sessions and programmes you have booked or purchased
- Send you further information about our services, including by email, where you have registered for an event or otherwise agreed to hear from us
- Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support
- Maintain the security of our website and prevent misuse
- Meet our legal, regulatory, and professional obligations as a hypnotherapy practitioner
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
Where Your Information Is Stored and Processed
We use trusted third-party platforms to run our website, manage registrations, and communicate with you, including Follow Up Sparks (built on the GoHighLevel platform) for registration forms, email automation, and client relationship management.
These providers may store or process data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as standard contractual clauses, to ensure your information continues to receive an appropriate level of protection.
We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
We may share your information with:
- The service providers named above, solely to help us deliver our services to you
- Professional advisers, regulators, or authorities, where we are required to do so by law
- A successor business, if Thrive with Hypno or DEG Coaching is ever sold, merged, or restructured, in which case your information may transfer as part of that arrangement
Client information shared with us in the course of hypnotherapy sessions is treated as confidential in line with our professional and ethical obligations, and is not disclosed to third parties except where legally required or necessary to protect someone’s safety.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep registration details (such as sign-ups for a masterclass or workshop) for as long as needed to run the event and its follow-up communications, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you engage with us again.
Client records are kept in line with the retention guidelines of our professional hypnotherapy body, generally for several years after the end of treatment, to meet our professional and insurance obligations.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time, as set out in “Your Rights” below, and we will do so unless we have a legal or professional obligation to retain it.
